Views on the West
During the Zeebelt ComSter-project from the 15th till the 18th of December in The Hague University students interviewed Indian call centre agents to ask about their 'Views on the West': what kind of stereotypes exist about the West in India? These interviews are edited into an audio briefing. This briefing is the basis for the posters that'll be made by graphic designers from India and the Netherlands.
The outcome will be shown at the exhibition from the 17th untill the 21st of March in DCR/Zeebelt. On Saturday the 20th of March all sorts of activities will take place: workshops, lectures and a filmscreening, to name a few.

Reis mee door de dimensies van Flatland
FLATLAND door Stagelab
Het boek Flatland werd rond 1850 door Edwin A. Abbott geschreven en is waarschijnlijk de beste introductie voor het waarnemen van verschillende dimensies. Stagelab, het performance ensemble van de ArtScience Interfaculty in Den Haag, transformeert het 3D-theater van Zeebelt naar vlakken, lijnen en punten. De studenten van het ensemble komen uit bij de vraag of er ook een voorstelling gemaakt kan worden over de vierde dimensie. Wij, als inwoners van Abbotts 'Spaceland' (derde dimensie), kunnen die alleen theoretisch begrijpen, maar nooit 'ervaren'.
